At The Villa, founded by Laurence Vanloo in 1988, became a Belgian techno pioneer, hosting legendary nights across ten different locations over nearly 37 years.

Known for its iconic DJs and electrifying events, the club attracted fans from all over Europe. Despite challenges, including a devastating fire in 1994, At The Villa continued to thrive, producing hits like Open Your Eyes and evolving into a cultural phenomenon in the electronic music scene.

Born to Be Alive, produced by Jean Vanloo and performed by Patrick Hernandez, became a global disco anthem upon its release in 1978. This infectious hit topped charts worldwide, embodying the vibrant spirit of the disco era and leaving a lasting mark on dance floors around the world.
